“Lomi means to weave: weaving light, weaving love, weaving spirit, unweaving unhealthy patterns in the body, unraveling wounds and old belief systems. The Hawaiian term Lomi Lomi means to knead or massage. The intention is to reawaken the body to its divine connection with spirit and to release that which prevents the recipient from experiencing themselves in the most authentic, expanded sense. This massage is practiced from a position of sacred respect for the person, providing unconditional love and acceptance. The work is designed to open energy centers, awaken the person’s internal light, and awaken to new ways of sensing and seeing the world. The whole body is interconnected with flowing strokes and movements.” - Tom Cochran of Sacred Lomi

Lomi Lomi massage is an ancient Hawaiian type of bodywork that facilitates the nurturing and healing of the body, mind and spirit. During a Lomi Lomi session, the therapist uses long, deep flowing strokes with their forearms, from head to toe, on both sides of the body while simultaneously working both the under and upper sides of the body. This full body experience has all the benefits of a traditional massage while allowing you to escape into a meditative state of relaxation.

I invite you to take a journey to reconnect with yourself. To let go of worries and stress, to allow yourself to be in the moment and receive all the aloha love that is Lomi Lomi.
